Yesterday with a final unanimous vote from the Douglas and Lyon County Commissions, I took the oath and was sworn into office as the Assemblyman for District 39. I sincerely appreciate all of the support and well wishes I’ve received and am excited to serve in this capacity!

For those wondering, the opposition votes came because the legislation exempts large gaming companies but not smaller retailers.
