Celebrations feel like they have changed, and as we cheer 30 years of Blankstone this month and during 2022, perhaps we want to go a little more understated. But today we do want to applaud our Mr. B., Mark, who opened Blankstone Opticians in 1992.

In case you weren’t there at the time, 1992 was as economically challenging as 2022 is. But with a plan, a dream, and a vision (pardon the pun!) this wonderful, uplifting and very style-conscious city helped build him a business that’s looking forward to the next 30.

Whatever is happening in the world, Liverpool is a city which sets its own pace. Photographed at the opening of the practice, in our same Derby Square location, Mark is pictured with his wonderful grandmother.

Blankstone is a family - it’s part of Mark’s family, the team are invited to join, and our clients are the people who we consider as part of our family, too.
