Following the call of God won’t always be convenient & comfortable, but it will always be worth it. You will never regret saying yes to Jesus.

Loving Jesus doesn’t always cure suicidal thoughts. Loving Jesus doesn’t always cure depression. Loving Jesus doesn’t always cure PTSD. Loving Jesus doesn’t always cure anxiety. But that doesn’t mean Jesus doesn’t offer us companionship and comfort. He ALWAYS does that.

How do we expect to be people of light if we’re not walking in the light? The light we shine in public will become dim if we’re living in darkness in private. Shine light on the things you’re most shameful of. God is ready to write your redemption story.

You can gossip about them or pray for them. You can push them deeper into sin by shaming them or push them closer to Jesus by loving them. Your choice.

how freaking cool is it going to be standing at the altar with your forever friend looking at them and thinking to yourself “i’m so glad i waited on God.”

idk who needs to hear this, but pushing your emotions down in order to be “strong” for other people during painful seasons isn’t showing them the real gospel. it’s in your weakness that God’s strength is made perfect. it’s ok to be weak. it’s ok to not be ok.

“I believe God wants to do something special in and through you for His glory, but His process of preparation, His method of molding us, more often than not, is different from what we want and what culture sells us as success.” - @lukelezon

Galatians 6:9 “Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we don’t give up.” Whatever you sow into now, you’ll reap the harvest of at a later time. Don’t give up. Stay the course. Your breakthrough is coming. God’s timing is perfect.

When I met the man Jesus he didn’t change my circumstances, but he did change my heart. Can I encourage you today? The mess you may find yourself in doesn’t define who you are. God’s truth transcends time. He sees you as worthy & blameless. He sees your original design.
