HEO put out a request for members for the D 14 BOD. A vote is to take place Thursday at the D 14 AGM. Has anyone that applied been contacted? Why such a lack of respect from D 14 Chair, HEO BOD or its paid employees.

HEO U 18 Issues: 1. Number of first year U18 players playing Junior hockey. 2. Number of second year U 18 players playing Junior hockey. HEO/D14 needs to get the actual numbers. My educated guess OHL 5/10, CCHL 12/18, EOJHL 12/15. Prep school 6/8 for a total of 35/51.

1. After the above exodus of players U18 AAA cannot support 5 teams at AAA · U 16 AAA has about 85 players · Using the numbers from above the loss of 35/51 players does not leave enough players to support a 5 team U 18 league. IMO. Any Ideas to help our U 18 league and players.

Who cares, what they did was wrong and they know it. We need to be better, parents, coaches, leagues, Hockey Canada need to teach are young men that this is not acceptable. The players that left are IMO just as much to blame because they did nothing to stop it.

Ideas to solve U 18 problem Stop CCHL and EOJHL Drafts. No drafts till after players are finished U18 HEO needs to make it mandatory that all first year U18 players must play U18

Only players that fit into elite status like Major Junior can move to CCHL. HEO/D14 should have town hall meetings with U16 parents next season at games and find out what the parents want from a U18 league. During town hall show them ideas and progress made at improving U18 AAA.

· Allow open borders at U18 · Go to less teams. 3 IMO · Tournament only teams. All 3 teams go to 6/ 8 tournaments per year. · Play non-meaningful games against EOJHL and Jr C · Join OHF east U18 · Some games should be 3 on 3, 4 on 4 that only last 50 min.

Hockey is about moving up. Only the elite move up. 3 on 3, 4 on 4 test players and coaches and gives the players extra ice time to develop individual skills. It also test coaches IMO. If you have any ideas please let me hear them.

HEO U 18 has started? To late to make changes for this year. Maybe next year. What did D 14 do this summer? Why do we have D 14?

Blake Callaghan (@blakecallagha14) 's Twitter Profile Photo

Less U 18 teams could mean no HEO league so playing 3 on 3, 4 on 4 for 2 games each would slow down anger from playimg each other to often. The excepional status is to make sure that the players that the CCHL want get ice time.

The Eastern Ontario Wild are looking for a U 18 coach for their U 18 AAA team. Not sure they have the numbers to field a competitive team. Let the team die and let thoses that want to play U18 can go to other HEO AAA U 18 teams. Great opportunity to try out a 4 team league.

I was sent a U 18 survey from D 14 that I was very happy to participate in. If I was asked to participate am I entilited to see the results of the survey? If not who is?

My sources tell me D 14 has not had a meeting since the new board was formed. I guess AAA has no issues to fix. That is great news.

Is this rumor gathering strength. Hockey Canada is going to get/ask/force OHF, HEO, NOHA and HWO to merge so they only have to deal with one governing body in Ontario. Is this a good idea? I think not.
