What an exciting week! Zachry MS Cyber Camp students visited our building for a tour, learned about the warehouse, and even helped fix some Chromebooks for #NISD students! Future tech pros in the making! #NISD

Our IT Support Services Repair Team is working hard to prepare for the upcoming #NISD school year! Our Field Technicians collected a HUGE number of devices at the end of the year for repair, quality control, and other projects. Their work ensures a successful start to the year!

Heads up, Team #NISD! 🌐 We're upgrading our network Saturday, June 21 (5 AM - 8 PM). Expect no internet, phones, or eSchool systems during this time. Off-campus, Google, MyPortal, & district webpages will still work. No action needed – we're working to make our systems safer!

This summer, our #NISD Tech Teams lead by Jared and Colton are swapping out Chromebooks and chargers at two of our campuses and replacing them with more sturdy, reliable models. The intention is to reduce the breakage rate for the 25/26 school year at these campuses.

I had a blast at my first TETL--Texas Education Technology Leaders conference! 🙌🏼 Connecting with other districts and leaders, while being able to speak about our own department and the great things we are doing here at Northside ISD, was an awesome opportunity. See you next year!

Now that device collection has finished, our team is shifting focus to next year! Our repair team has already begun preparing devices for our students, while our technicians are hard at work delivering them back to the campuses.
