Watching the way Myles has performed in these playoffs, it’s wild to think about how the Pacers were ready to give up on him and pursue Ayton.

If you're the Bucks, do you even try to bring back Giannis Antetokounmpo? Is it worth the risk with the Pacers leading the series three games to one?

It would be noble, I guess, if Dame and Giannis came back for Game 5. But I wonder if you take the risk of playing them in this situation.

I’m reasonably sure new Colts draftee Adonai Mitchell is not Jewish, but “Adonai” is the Hebrew word for God. This only interests me.

I can’t say I fully understand all the details involved with the Penske scandal, but a little controversy ain’t the worst thing for this series.

.Jourdan Rodrigue with a beautiful piece on new DE Laiatu Latu, who fought his way back to the field and will now fight his way into NFL backfields.

If you recall the salad days of Freeney and Mathis, you know how important it is to have a dominant edge pass rush. The only question now is, will Laiatu Latu remain healthy?

If I’m Bill Belichick watching how the Falcons mismanaged their quarterback situation, I’m thinking I dodged a bullet not getting the gig there. Reminds me of when Dan reeves drafted Tommy Maddox when Elway was the unquestioned starter. Just insane roster construction.

I wish they could have moved up to get Bowers - Ballard said they tried hard to move up; we’re all assuming for Bowers - but I like the idea behind the pick. Now it’s a matter of hoping your medical people were right to clear him. There’s definitely a heightened risk here

Edge rush wasn’t the Colts most pressing need, but I tend to agree with Ballard that you can’t have enough top-end pass rushers. Anybody who lived here during the glory days with ROBERT MATHIS QBH8r and Dwight Freeney knows how an elite pass rush alters a game.

Laiatu Latu had easily the best tape of any defensive player in the entire draft class.

He’s as advanced of a pass rusher as you’ll find coming out of college.

As long as his health holds up, that’s an absolute steal for the Colts.

Based on what I’ve read, Latu is the best pass rusher in this draft, but his medical history gives me some pause. Some teams red flagged him because of a serious neck injury that forced him out of football for two years, but the Colts were convinced he’d be ok. We’ll see.

Ok, then. Minnesota’s gonna grab their quarterback at No. 10. Time for the Colts to move up and get Bowers.

I have absolutely no inside info on the Colts’ draft plans, but I’d love to see them move up and grab Brock Bowers.
