This week we reported on possible chaotic signatures on host-microbe systems. The result is preliminary but it is not surprising that the outcome of host-microbe interactions would be exquisitively sensitive to initial conditions...hence chaotic dynamics. pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/38197647/
🆕 Our bioRxiv Microbiology preprint on human gut virome is out! Moreno Zolfo & team reported a novel approach leveraging Virome enrichment to catalog new viral members of the human gut microbiome. biorxiv.org/content/10.110… 1/4

Wow. Disseminated MAC - something we’d think of in advanced HIV, but here w/ BsAb. Labs showed CD4 <50 even 1+ yr after stopping BsAb! illustrates T cell depletion + long term infxn risk w/ prolonged BsAb. Lot to ponder here as we see expanded use of BsAb Nausheen Ahmed MD
