BITMO ballot result to be announced later today. Belle Isle tenants get a vote every 5 years to decide if the estate should be run locally by its tenants or centrally by Leeds City Council. Will they vote to keep local control, a housing counter and a local caretaking team?

Belle Isle Circus lights switched on last night, part of making the Circus a safe & well-used space in the heart of Belle Isle. It follows the fence to stop quads getting on, orchard, fun trail & the planters maintained by Belle Isle Senior Action. Safe pedestrian access next aim

Belle Isle repair cafe at BITMO on Saturday 21 December 1-4pm. Our fixers will try to mend it - electrical, clothes, toys, bags. Santa's here from 1pm, with gifts for 100 children aged 2-12 who come with parents/carers. Market stalls, free Winter coats, hot drinks & mince pies.
