this is the worst take yet i’ve seen regarding the transfer portal. A local kid gets ignored by UCLA, so he goes to New Mexico. UNM takes a chance on him. He’s beloved by the fanbase. He’s coached up for years and they beat UCLA. The next year UCLA buys him. Steals him away
