It was #LLRGirlsFootballWeek! We took part in the challenges set in our school led by our Sports Leaders⚽️👧The children had a blast trying to see how many toe taps and kick ups they could do in 30 seconds! #LetGirlsPlay Youth Sport Trust South Charnwood SSPAN School Games

Our World Youth Team organised a fabulous day to raise money for CAFOD this lent. It was wonderful to see so many different cultures represented.

Our year 5/6 children have been to Warning Zone today where they have learnt plain and honest facts in a memorable and understandable way in order to encourage responsible behaviour and sound decision making while living full and active lives.

oday we celebrated National Numeracy Day! We have had lots of fun in all of our maths-related outfits! Happy National Numeracy Day!

Very proud of these children who have just completed their Level 1 and 2 in Bikeability ! They have worked hard over the past two days to learn how to be safe when cycling on the road!

Wow! What a performance from Year 6. They shone like stars in 'The School-O-Vision Song Contest' (a brilliantly funny play with great songs from Edgy Productions ) Our children have had so much fun rehearsing this play and our school community loved it!

Year 3 and 4 had an amazing time on their trip to London. They went on a boat down The Thames and had an amazing view from The London Eye ! They loved spotting all the landmarks they'd been learning about!

Friday 1st November we celebrated mass for All Saints. With thanks to our celebrant Father Jude.

Last month our reception class learnt about and celebrated Black History Month.

Last Thursday our reception class welcomed The Forest Foxes Programme, helping them develop their learning about the outdoor environment.

On Tuesday four children took part in a table tennis festival at Wreake Valley. Developing their table tennis skills, they came 2nd and were highly praised. Well done!!

Today we were honoured to join other schools and members of the community for the Remembrance Day Memorial in Thurmaston.

Yesterday was #worldkindnessday and our 'Minnie Vinnies' St Vincent de Paul Society (England & Wales) set the school a challenge. Each class had to achieve 50 acts of kindness by the end of the day. They smashed it!

Today we celebrated International Men's Day by wearing blue and a tie. We also treated our staff to a lovely cheeseboard, with thanks to our well-being team! #InternationalMensDay

Yesterday students from year 5 & 6 took part in Sports Leadership Day, they all had a fantastic time and thoroughly enjoyed the day! South Charnwood SSPAN

Some of our choir had a fabulous time at De Montfort Hall rehearsing for the Menphys concert tonight! They sang beautifully and are VERY excited to perform this evening (and help raise funds for a wonderful charity)!
