Today is the eighth anniversary of the terror attack at Manchester Arena. The city remembers the 22 who died that night and all those injured and affected. We’ll be marking it as 12 noon and 22:31 at Manchester Victoria.

I can’t believe I have been nominated, let alone shortlisted, for a National Rail Award for Outstanding Personal Contribution. It only feels like yesterday that Steph and I watched our friend Mike win the same award in 2022. Thank you from the bottom of my heart 💖

Seven years ago today and I didn’t know my Picc from my Vic or my Pendo from my Pacer. Now I don’t really remember life without the rhythm of the railway in. It’s a place that I found purpose & where I think I’ve been able to make a difference. Thanks to all those on my journey.
