Earlier today, the National Task Group on Sanitation (NTGS) certified Shira LGA in Bauchi state, open defecation-free. With this, Nigeria now has a total of 45 ODF LGAs. This was made possible through efforts by UNICEF, WASH partners, Bauchi State & Water Resources NGR. #CleanNigeria

#Nigeria is on the right track now with know how and experience on how to achieve #ODF LGAs. There’s now need for more sustained political commitments to exponentially achieve more and meet the 2025 ODF #Nigeria target.
