The conference dinner then dissipated into bars and a bonfire 🔥 was apparently also lit! First thing tomorrow morning the final round of fantastic talks is waiting for us!

The final day of Bioinspired2022.ch has arrived!

First off this morning Bioinspired2022.ch , Stanislav Gorb (Universität Kiel CAU 🎓) took us on a tour de force across the different structures used for adhesion in biological systems! From beetle to fly, from spider to gecko! #sticky #bioinspired

Finishing with another set of fantastic talks! Soft robots that mimic natural motion were brought to us by Robert Katzschmann and Michael Mayer of the BioPhysics lab at AMI showed us how to deliver electricity and capture carbon!

This week was a blast Bioinspired2022.ch! The SMaL lab moved to the beautiful Andermatt for a deep dive in the beauty of nature 🏞! We had the chance to attend inspiring talks from great names in the field, as well as engaging in insightful discussions.

Award ceremony and some concluding remarks … and that’s a wrap for Bioinspired2022.ch!
