Yesterday, we had the 5th meeting of our scientific board. We discussed the already achieved goals in the #BIOfid project and our plans for our 3rd funding phase. Thanks to all board members for their helpful suggestions and their critical but constructive comments!

BIOfid is proud to contribute to #BHLDay2023 (programme: s.si.edu/bhlday2023): on Wednesday, April 19 at Muséum national d'Histoire naturelle, our #BIOfid presentation is part of the session "Providing heritage literature for natural sciences" (1415-1545 CEST).

At BIOfid, we take data quality of ontologies seriously. That includes ontologies of scientific names, with their correct authorship and date. Still, having a say on the authorship of the widely used name Arthropoda came as a surprise! Find more here 👇👇👇
