Brick pillar and over reinforced concrete lintel gone! A very messy clean up job left to do now!

First fix electrics are sorted in the living room..... (this was last week)

Now we're waiting for the fire (a 'Gazco Studio 2') to be delivered. The orange oblong roughly marks the spot! I found it, new but old stock, at a lovely shop in Wales at 50% off RRP. I waited a few weeks then made them an offer a few hundred less! It's arriving next Friday😁

Insulation has arrived. TA is in the roof cutting away rafters - we're having a warm roof with proper storage (🤞my shoes😉)- just showing the windows but had to cut it short owing to expletives!🙉😜

The living room is coming on. Just being held up by the electrician....

Just found out that some of the new windows arrive today! 😁

No pics yet, but 6 windows are going in today then the back door and 2 sets of French windows are going in tomorrow morning! Can't believe what a difference its made! 😊😊😊

The fire has finally arrived... all 220kg!

Not much to report thanks to #StormDennis & #StormCiara but we've been carrying on with 1st fix electrics, levelling out the pathways and started the greenhouse base and area for the raised beds.

Since late morning, I've been mixing and TA plastering and now half the ceiling in the living room is done!

This is where the greenhouse is going😮& under the pallet behind the cement mixer, lurks the start of a foundation! So, today, I've moved about 1.5 tons of bricks & blocks & it's looking a lot better. TA said he might start it next week while I'm painting the new living room!

#astounded 5 Roma and 2 Moneymaker seeds have germinated!😀 TA says that's what they're supposed to do🙄
