Sad to hear that Vincent Friell has died. He appeared in Trainspotting, River City, Taggart, The Angels’ Share, Still Game and Rab C Nesbitt but he’ll be best remembered for the comedy Restless Natives. Condolences to his family and friends.

This LP stands out as a cult break through album as punk moved onto new wave and eventually electronic as John Foxx left and Midge Ure replaced him.

Incredibly sad news tonight of the passing of Chris Cross, bass player with Ultravox. The version with John Foxx in the 1970s was one of my favorite bands.

You can see a car far far off into the distance that took at least 10 min to get to me. This was captured at 300MM and cropped at 50%, so that gives you an idea of the vastness of this stretch of road in death valley.
