We’re evaluating creating Merged APIs in AWS AppSync which would allow multiple teams to operate independently, contributing to a unified primary GraphQL endpoint. Take a look at the RFC and help us shape the new feature, we'd love to hear your feedback. github.com/aws/aws-appsyn…

Chat apps are the 'hello world' of real-time data. Opening up a socket connection and 2 browser tabs is still feels magical to me 😅 Coupling this with GraphQL is honestly one of my favorite parts of modern development. But most chat apps won't scale. AWS AppSync changes that 🧵

I realize that AWS AppSync may not be the first way to get started with GraphQL for some, so I made a video highlighting JS functions in AppSync to give an overview of why it's such a game changer for both the service, but GraphQL in general.

AWS AppSync now supports JavaScript for all resolvers. Use unit resolvers for single data source access, and continue to use pipelines resolvers to chain functions. It’s also easier then ever to get started in the console or with the AWS CDK. aws.amazon.com/blogs/mobile/a…
