"The mayor should just shut it (mobility department) down and reinvent it with something else that works. It doesn’t work in any way right now. Nobody is happy,” said Carlson. bit.ly/40SOL0P

Was amazing celebrating with legendary Tampeño EJ Salcines renovation of the park named in honor of his parents. West Tampa is so incredibly rich with history and culture. EJ is our walking museum of our history.

CM Henderson should be remembered for her years of service as an educator, community leader and elected official. She also served through her bookstore and as a fierce advocate for women and her students. On stage she loved to debate but off stage she was smart, witty and kind.

Last week city staff reported to Tampa City Council that the current stormwater maintenance will be completed in seven (7) years. We discussed ways to speed up the process and asked why maintenance was not done. youtu.be/f6PNipHv-mY?fe…

Instead of accelerating the 7 year maintenance/infrastructure repair cycle, the city wants to spend $85m+ (plus interest, etc) on a project that will not protect any homes over the next four years and will only protect a small area in a minor storm after bit.ly/4maThB3
