3 weeks ago I was called out to this tiny dog. A car had reversed over her while she slept. Her odds weren’t good but you should see her today… (1/8) 🧵

She had a broken leg, dislocated knee and crushed ribs. She had been bought as a puppy but abandoned by foreigners. She had been living as a community dog with very poor Thai locals (2/8)

Eventually Noodles could no longer walk. Her whole back end was crushed. Her pain was extreme. She is an older girl of about 8 and also has eyesight problems (3/8)

We took her in and got to work. The hardest part was handling her given her pain. She needed reconstructive surgery at a local hospital (4/8)

She had to travel 600 miles for her operation. It has cost a small fortune. She has been there 10 days and it was a success. She came back yesterday and rehab has started (5/8)

Noodles is back doing her thing exercises with us. We think it might take her about 2-3 months to learn how to walk again. But there is a good chance she will 🤞(6/8)

Noodles gets tired quick from her exercises but she does love belly rubs. It’s hard to explain just how small she is (7/8)

Her life nearly came to an end 3 weeks ago but look at her now. Lots of work still to do but Noodles is a very brave girl. I reckon I might be able to find a little couch out there somewhere for her to live out her days 🥰🙏 (8/8)

New work. I tried to finish it yesterday but my hand was cramped and my bum sore from sitting so long. Also a 1001 distrations. Words by Sarah Williams. Total adoration of owls and moths by me. Hoping to go over it with a fine brush later today to really finish it.
