Admitting vulnerabilities is a strength, it’s part of what makes us human and it also makes us better scientists - my short summary of a very important message from Ottoline Leyser during our All Hands meeting Sainsbury Laboratory Cambridge University (SLCU) 👍

So happy for everyone involved in this study, and especially for Bo Larsen who joined my group the very first day to try to make optogenetics in plants a reality. Today it’s a bright and growing field! Still lots more to do, but very proud of Bo for diving in to make Highlighter!
