With the forecast I really feel for all you football Groundsman. I hope the refs use common sense before allowing the pitch to be trashed for the rest of the season.

Big shout out for all the usual crew for the massive shift last night at Woolpit Cricket Club serving hundreds of villagers with food and drink during the Royal Celebrations. Also to Easton Cricket Club who were gracious in defeat and stayed for a decent drink.

Its quite obvious that Stokes and Key can’t hack Foakes being so much better looking than them! So they bring in Bairstowe- I rest my case…!

Big thank you to Great Waltham CC who hosted Woolpit CC in the area final of the National Village Cup. Friendly hosts, gracious in defeat and an excellent pitch with wall to wall sunshine 🌞!

What a monumental effort by Suffolk Cricket and Woolpit CC to host Surrey CC on Sunday. The rain might have ruined the game but nothing can take away the quality of the welcome and facilities. Surrey could not have been more grateful and effusive in their praise.👏
