Recent storms have made travel difficult in the Bighorn National Forest. Most Forest roads are not passable and the highways have been impacted. Please consider traveling to lower elevations to celebrate the holiday weekend, especially if you will be pulling a trailer.

The Bighorn National Forest Fuels Program is working to better prepare our communities for wildfire one slash pile at a time.

Beginning Monday, December 2, 2024, the Medicine Wheel Ranger District office will be open on Mondays, Thursdays, and Fridays through the winter. District staff will cover phones and the front desk to answer questions. Staff will not be able to provide product sales.
