40 years ago today, Steve Dalh, a deluded white rock fan convinced thousands of white people to riot against the disco genre which was widely popular with Black, Latino, and LGBTQ+ people. Steve still claims the riot was not rooted by racism and homophobia.

Artists working in the realms of disco, funk and soul produced some of the greatest music ever recorded. If you can't appreciate disco you are either deeply ignorant of it, or a sad, bitter individual and I pity you.
