BHS HEAD COACH SALUTE: Steve Clapp (baseball, 2004-present) The Lincoln Christian & Illinois State grad is the winningest coach in Raider baseball history at 418-303-2. Clapp's teams have won 6 regionals & 3 Big 12 titles, advancing to the state 3A supersectional in 2012.

BHS HEAD COACH SALUTE: Kay Robbins (girls' basketball, 1988-99) As Lady Raider head coach, Kay turned girls' basketball around & led them to the AA super sectional in her 4th season. The Quincy native's win-loss total was 163-116 with 3 20-win campaigns & 2 Big 12 titles.

BHS HEAD COACH SALUTE: Jeff Collins (softball, 1997-2001) During his 5 seasons in the dugout, BHS softball improved immensely under the Towanda native with a record of 113-57-3 & 4 consecutive 20-win seasons.

BHS HEAD COACH SALUTE: Bob Lush (boys' tennis, 1950; boys' basketball, 1950, boys' track, 1952) Straight from Illinois Wesleyan, Lush became a valuable assistant at BHS & eventually led boys' tennis to a 4-7-1 mark, plus was 2-2 in basketball and 5-1 in track before he left BHS.

Straight from Illinois Wesleyan, Lush became a valuable assistant at BHS &amp; eventually led boys' tennis to a 4-7-1 mark, plus was 2-2 in basketball and 5-1 in track before he left BHS.

BHS HEAD COACH SALUTE: Les Wothke (boys' golf, 1966-68) Following Jim Bowers, the Greenville and Eastern Illinois grad had success on the links, racking up 3 district titles & a 26-13-1 dual record before he left to coach basketball at Park Forest Rich East & Winona State.

BHS HEAD COACH SALUTE: Tim Mogill (softball, 1995-96) After coaching Streator to a state title in 1983, Mogill directed the Lady Raiders to a 21-35 mark. Debbie Dicken was an all-stater for BHS during his tenure. PHOTO CREDIT: Bloomington Pantagraph

BHS HEAD COACH SALUTE: George Tullier (boys' soccer, 1993-99; girls' soccer, 1995-98) Tullier turned the boys' program around & was the father of the girls' program. His record with the boys was 81-47-15 with 3 Big 12 titles, & 4 more with the girls as he posted a 60-12-6 mark.

BHS HEAD COACH SALUTE: Niall Mulcahy (football, 2024) An Illinois Wesleyan graduate, Mulcahy didn't have travel far off campus, starting in 2016 as he worked his way up & was named to the top job in 2024. BHS went 8-3 last season & won their first playoff game in 16 years.

BHS HEAD COACH SALUTE: Larry Connolly (boys' cross-country, 1972-76) The University of Illinois grad took over the cross-country program in & built on the successes of Ralph Sackett & Del Swearingen, winning the school's first Big 12 title in 1972 & posted a 59-9 dual record.

BHS HEAD COACH SALUTE: Tom Waterson (girls' golf 2005-20; boys' cross-country 2021) The BHS grad & Literature instructor led the girls to a 58-78 dual mark on the links & won 3 Big 12 titles in 2011-12-13. He took a turn with cross-country but did not have a dual record in 2021.

BHS HEAD COACH SALUTE: Karen Whelan Willard (BHS Girls Bowling 1995-99, girls' track 1996-2001) As head coach, Karen's bowlers were 4-11 in dual meets, & 24-6 in track. Four relays along with Christin Wurth and Lindsey Reu were all-staters for her in 1999.

BHS HEAD COACH SALUTE: Bodo Fritzen (boys' soccer, 1986) The German professor at ISU spent a season in Raiderville as he directed boys' soccer to its first winning campaign at 14-6. He later became head coach at U-High & led the Pioneer programs into the 21st Century.
