At this mornings The Poverty Alliance AGM David Reilly spoke about our work rurally, and the importance of our focus on access to services including healthcare. #TARP

We've published our new report on supporting #HumanRights defenders in rural #Scotland! In this great new blog our #RightsInAction development officer Lydia Murphy explains how the project worked, and how people benefited from it. povertyalliance.org/blog-supportin…

This evening we'll be at @scotparl with Financial Inclusion for Scotland, with some of the creators of @fairbydesign's fantastic #GiveMeSomeCredit photovoice exhibition. fairbydesign.com/give-me-some-c…

It's unjust that Scotland's unpaid #carers are so much more at risk of being locked in poverty. In her great guest blog, Fiona Collie of Carers Scotland says political leaders can help by backing a #MinimumIncomeGuarantee pilot for carers. povertyalliance.org/guest-blog-a-c…

Delighted to be spending the day in Dundee with Improvement Service's Child Poverty Peer Support Network for their Learning from Lived Experience day. Later on I'll be sharing our approach to setting up a citizens' panel with Argyll and Bute Council and Argyll&Bute TSI.

A wee blog post about the #Argyll and #Bute citizens' panel's take on the recent Argyll and Bute Council budget survey.

The strategy recognises Shetland's "higher cost of materials and labour for home improvement works, and a shortage of accredited insulation installers". Lots of common ground with The Poverty Alliance's #TARP findings in Argyll and Bute Council. Hopefully lots of learning to share!
