He who relies on irrelevant arguments to deny Veda-s & runs around [twitter] to counter Śāstra-s – the learned think of him as a dog.

Sameer  ⌬ I think the best is the Kāṭhaka system. Udātta: देव॑स्य devásya. Independent svarita followed by udātta: उर्व᳕न्त॑रिक्षम् urvàntárikṣam. Independent svarita followed by anudātta: पृथिव्य᳘सि pṛthivyàsi.

Pā. 1.3.14 teaches middle endings with reciprocal actions. They love each other. They argue against each other. That sorta thing. Nilesh ji provides this example, motivated by Kāśikā: The Brahmin cuts the tree. [Because cutting trees is Śūdra's job, so there is karmavyatihāra]😂

manasataramgini Śrīkānt Kandāḍai Do you know of any śākhās other than kaṭha where a dedicated set of 9G mantras are found (I recall you had written about it)? For others, I am attaching snippets of the graha mantras + brāhmaṇa from kaṭha śākhā (unfortunately only the graheṣṭi-brāhmaṇa survives accented)

I want to say something about thanking the lords for not dismissing it as Tamasika Purana but I will refrain because Kuch boloon tho vivad hojayega.

Am reading “Poems from the Sanskrit” by John Brough. He was IMO one of the better translators of Sanskrit poetry… seems to be somewhat under-rated or under-noticed (going by mentions in other works / availability in libraries and bookstores, etc). (Sorry, long thread follows.)
