Congrats to our district public speakers Aidan and Emma! Aidan placed FIRST in beginning prepared and qualified for state competition on March 1! Emma placed THIRD in extemporaneous as a freshman, missing qualifying for states by 1 place. Great job to both of them!!

Congratulations to our Ag Sales team that placed 6th at the district contest. Annie led the way by placing 2nd high individual. The team also had the highest team activity score in the contest. Special thanks to Amanda Barndt for helping the team. Great job!

Congratulations to Aidan Thomas and Emma Nester who competed in the state FFA public speaking contest today! Aidan was top 12 in the state in beginning prepared and Emma was top 10 in the state in extemporaneous. We are so proud of you both!

Today was the District 1 Spring Career Development Events! Teams competed in General Livestock Judging, Equine, Poultry, Wildlife, Nature Interpretation and Agronomy contests.

Today Konner, Tyler and Damon participated in the District 1 Ag Mechanics CDE. Students demonstrated 8 different ag mechanic skills including welding, torch cutting, tube flaring, using a micrometer, fastener and tool ID, lubricants and electrical.

The team placed 4th in District 1 and Tyler was 1st place individual in the contest! Congratulations!!

It was a great wrap-up to another great year! We are so proud of all the great things our members accomplish!

Junior and Senior Ag Students helped the Wood County Soil and Water Conservation District pack thousands of trees for their annual sale today. Trees are sold to landowners to be used as windbreaks to help control soil erosion.

The Mechanical Principles class has been busy wrapping up the concrete unit. Students made concrete stepping stones by cutting out forms, mixing, pouring and finishing the concrete and then finally painting. We unfortunately didn’t get pictures of all of them but here are a few
