Volunteers from #TeamBFSAI were out this weekend facing all the elements supporting Falklands Conservation planting Tussac Grass on Middle Island in Choiseul Sound. The project, which we've supported every year since 2020, aims to restore 20 hectares of eroded peat on the Island 🌾🇫🇰

On Saturday, RAF PTI Cpl Samuel Nutt completed his 'Stanley and back' charity run. Sam ran 106km in 8Hrs 33 mins, raising for Mind and RAF Benevolent Fund A rather 'Nutty' undertaking if you ask us ! Huge congratulations, and a mega shoutout for the support crew🏃‍♂️ ACM Sir Rich Knighton

Our first double whammy #WildlifeWednesday! Cpl Harvey Reeves from 1435 Flt, who also submitted last weeks photos, visited Volunteer Point this weekend and we felt these photos of the Kings and their chicks were too good not to share! 🐧

Falkland Island Fire and Rescue paid us a visit this week to learn about some of vehicles we have at MPC. These vehicles regularly use the Stanley road, and as the weather starts to deteriorate it's exceptionally important for all emergency services to familiar with them!🚒

The Civil Service has now entered the pre-election period. This will last until the General Election concludes. During this time there will be restrictions on communications activity and Government social media accounts will be quieter than usual.

The Roulement Infantry Company, CO 2 SCOTS Lt Col Ollie Bridle, have recently completed an exercise across the Falkland Islands. Working together with Falkland Islands Defence Force, Royal Navy HMS Forth and Royal Air Force .
