The inclusive words are ‘mother’ & ‘women’. Everyone who gives birth is both. If anyone wants a special word, then employers can comply…without taking the correct words from the rest of us. Somerset Council‘s maternity policy omits the word ‘mother’…for ‘inclusivity’🙄
