Big fan of women's rights, and appropriately keen on fertility awareness as contraception which is 'up to 99% effective if used correctly' (NHS).

'Why does it matter to you what other people do with their bodies?'

Because 'gender affirming care' is a socio-medical scandal worse than lobotomies & thalidomide.

It is a lie built out of regressive, homophobic, & misogynistic stereotypes, which harms the bodies & minds of

It's very telling to see this connection being made out in the open. Yes, the 'women's safety isn't as important as male feelings and women who don't accept it are unkind' argument doesn't just apply to one area

6 women appeared in court over the last 18 months for ending their own pregnancies. That's a 6600% increase compared to a total of 3 in the first 50 years after the Abortion Act 1967.
Let that sink in.

Fight, flight, freeze and fawn are how our bodies handle dangerous situations.

We instinctively know which will be most effective.

Women are probably more likely than men to use freeze and fawn.

Today is the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women. Between 2 and 3 women a week are killed by men a week in the UK. This horrific case in which a man strangled to death his wife and his two children aged 4 and 6 is but one example.

The inclusive words are ‘mother’ & ‘women’. Everyone who gives birth is both. If anyone wants a special word, then employers can comply…without taking the correct words from the rest of us. Somerset Council‘s maternity policy omits the word ‘mother’…for ‘inclusivity’🙄

Was in pub waiting for the managing agent of the property to call me.

Lady next table over was breastfeeding her baby, staff came over and asked her to use the disabled toilet.

I intervened.

It is ILLEGAL in the UK to ask someone to move for breastfeeding in public.

Have you ever been told that having a baby will improve your symptoms from an illness/injury? If you answer yes & are happy to, please share the details in the comments…

I know this sounds crazy but evidence suggests sterile water injections provide “at least 30% and 50% reduction in pain for up to 90 min”. Women need as many options as possible for getting through backache labour. Don’t reduce them by suggesting drugs are the only way to cope.

All good parents agree: there's nothing more important than a child's happiness in the moment.

If you really want your child to feel loved, the best way to do this is to give her whatever her heart desires.

If that means ice cream for dinner 6 nights a week, so be it!
