Forget postpartum bodies. This is my pre-partum (shh, just go with it) body. 6th time being 6 weeks pregnant. Feeling great and remaining hopeful for Spring!

I am so blown away by the number of strangers on the internet who have offered a prayer for me today. Thanks, y’all. My heart is in a much better place now. ❤️

My MIL has graciously kept my children all day and I’m so thankful because I don’t know how I would have functioned with them in my house today. Honestly, kind of nervous about tomorrow. I am not physically and emotionally in a good place.

He said he loved me and I said, “Lies and deception.” (my standard response) He pivoted off the couch onto one knee in front of me, holding the ring he had just pulled from his pocket, and asked, “Is there any way I can prove it to you?”

I am once again asking God to stop giving me babies I didn’t ask for only to take them back after a few weeks. It feels so unnecessary. I could have been happy with this empty womb, but today I am devastated.

My dad was supposed to come on Tuesday night, but he showed up and surprised me this morning. I so needed that today.

So this trip to town is going well. (Me, sitting in my car, trying to pull it together after seeing the *perfect* journal I didn’t buy while thinking about the collection of letters to my baby that I never get to write.)
