I was in Enfield on Friday and got a sneak preview of this lovely new route - much of which used to be completely inaccessible to the public. Great to see the new walking & cycling bridge being installed.

A known hotspot. But also part of a parade of shops so not isolated.

This is a concerning development, if it means a Quieter Neighbourhood risks becoming a Less Quiet Neighbourhood. Increasing the convenience of driving usually increases the amount of driving, and undermines incentives for more-sustainable alternatives.

Here's the Holland & Barrett lorry parked on the pavement and blocking the cycle lane again early morning in Palmers Green. Does Enfield Council really need to do early morning enforcement because an apparently health based company won't park legally?
