Yesterday was a great day at the nlcbf where we shared information about Care to Dance C.I.C. alongside many inspirational individuals and organisations. It was a privilege to have time to reflect, share and collaborate 💫

Dancers of the month goes to our Oxfordshire Duo - Caroline and Emily! Through the process of our holistic programme, they developed confidence resulting in a heartwarming performance at our recent celebration event. Proud is an understatement! 👏

Having a team that goes above and beyond makes Care to Dance what it is, and we're so proud of that. Even though Emma had had a long and intense day in court, she still jumped in last minute to cover an evening class so our young people didn't have to miss out.

Young people leaving care often describe turning 18th as a “cliff edge", facing sudden independence with no support. At CTD we provide a community and the support they need to get through tough times like this and have somewhere to turn to. We're here to make a difference 💖

While the summer holidays are a wonderful time for lots of children - time spent with family, friends and going abroad or on trips, this isn’t always the case for young people in care.

Such a fun day at Coventry City Council Fostering Summer Event 🙌 it was a privilege to be invited, to meet the young people and their families and to work in partnership with Through Care 🙏🏼 I’m feeling even more excited for the start of our Care to Dance C.I.C. programme next week 💃
