I don't know who needs to hear this but... you're a human not a brand. Contrary to the neoliberalization of life, it is perfectly acceptable NOT to commodify or monetize your interests, hobbies, talents, personality, and insights (economic necessity notwithstanding).

The fact that you simply can’t, as a reality of nature, fight a pandemic as an individual based on your own individual choices alone, should show us all that none of us truly exists alone. Our fates truly are bound together. That reality should inform how we live going forward.
As I left church today the pastor was standing at the door handing out Covid rapid tests. He encouraged everyone to take enough for their entire family to be tested before gathering with others during the holidays. This is a true example of how to love your neighbor.
To be a family, a country, doesn’t necessitate that we be the same or agree on everything, only that we continue to try to see the best in each other and move forward into a shared future. Whether we like it or not, we are in this together.
It is not partisan to point out that it's profoundly disturbing that the former President of the United States was calling Putin a genius on the eve of the largest invasion in Europe since World War II. It's a fact. This isn't normal but we have become numbed to it.
