March 2, 1943 | Approximately 1,500 Jewish children, men and women arrive to #Auschwitz in a transport from the German Reich. 973 of them are immediately killed in the gas chambers. Later that day another transport arrives from Berlin and 1,350 deportees out of 1,500 are killed

9 March 1939 | French Jewish girl Suzanne Driay was born in Paris. She arrived at #Auschwitz on 2 June 1944 in a transport of 1,000 Jews deported from Drancy. She as among 627 people murdered in a gas chamber right after the selection.
