Totally fascinating true story thread!! It's amazing what you find in declassified government Archives... This one is an early example of fake news. It's an episode which features in one of our audio dramas next week, about the Irish War of Independence...

The first document is an example of fake news - seen here a fake 'Irish Bulletin' dated 30 March 1921. This was printed using real Irish Bulletin equipment, seized in a raid.
