I can't quite believe it's been 20 years, but I'm incredibly thankful to God for Jess as we celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary.

If you have a heart for people who are vulnerable or disadvantaged, I really encourage you to book in for the online Jubilee+ conference which is happening this Saturday 7th Nov.

Just had the last meeting of the year with the City Church Bristol team. What a fantastic bunch of people who are fun, hard-working, caring, passionate and talented. It’s been a funny old year but they’ve handled it with grace and grit as they’ve continued to serve the church.

For to us a child is born, to us a son is given; and the government shall be upon his shoulder, and his name shall be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Isaiah 9:6 Merry Christmas!

My friend Dan has his first book published today. It’s absolutely superb and I can’t recommend it highly enough. The book is full of stories of hope from around the world. He has a launch event this evening on Facebook if you search LukeX Project LukeX Project

Brilliant to spend yesterday and this morning with the City Church Bristol elders - a mixture of prayer and discussion, on zoom and in groups in person. Very excited about all that God is going to do in the coming years.

What a privilege to be at Greg Haslam’s memorial service today. It was so good to hear moving tributes from those who knew him best. Wonderful to celebrate his life lived for God and reflect on how we are living ours. I’m very grateful for the times I got to spend with him.
