INEC Nigeria I arrived at the INEC office, Ikotun at 6:05 am and I met an astonishingly long queue... By that time, almost 450 people had written their names in a sort of attendance list. INEC Nigeria

INEC Nigeria I was appalled to discover that some of these people had spent the night within the office premises, in order to be among the lucky 100 that might get registered today. INEC Nigeria

INEC Nigeria Some other persons had to pay some unspecified amount of money to the officials in charge, to get their names written on the list. At this point, I was still hopeful that I might get registered without having to 'settle' anybody INEC Nigeria

INEC Nigeria After waiting for 2 hours, one of the INEC officials finally addressed us and without concern for those who had risked life and limb to be there so early, he carelessly crumpled the list (at this time, the number had increased to about 600) INEC Nigeria

INEC Nigeria He nonchalantly announced that we all go back home as they were only attending to the first 100 people on the list. The same people who had paid to get registered. No further information was supplied as to how the rest of us could be registered. INEC Nigeria

INEC Nigeria Dear INEC Nigeria , we desire to exercise our right to vote. Give us the chance to do that. We do not want to believe that the coming elections might not be free and fair. Our votes count, our voices must be heard

INEC Nigeria Dear INEC Nigeria , we are tired of the figures that are being reeled out as to the number of registered voters per LGA. More than half of the residents of Ikotun, Lagos and its environs are still not registered. So, are your stats valid? Do something!

This thread sends shivers down my spine. INEC Nigeria officials have not just put a price tag on voter registration, They are deliberately orchestrating the disenfranchisement of a willing lot. Nigeria will win in the end and when she does, we would tell the story.

So there are people who believe the #Benue people give their wives to visitors as a gift?? I am ashamed. The educational system should be hauled.

Your selective amnesia is amusing. Were you around when Today's men told us all that nothing can stop GEJ's reelection? Continue to lie to yourself.
