You haven't so much invented such a solution, as you have discovered the coordinate system in which the problem becomes trivial.

This advice applies to LLMs as well: If you can't measure ROI on your dollars spent on tokens, you are just being a tourist. Use an API aggregator such as OpenRouter. Test as many models as you can for your task at hand. Only then get yourself hardware to run local LLMs.

Researcher in 2026 >Use LLMs to generate 20 papers >Spend 2 weeks clicking approve/reject >Bill: 20k$ in API credits >Spend 2 weeks verifying them, 1 is good >Publish paper >GitHub issues: Data leakage, bugs; ignore >post on X: Human coding is obsolete! AI invented new science🤯

One interesting response to this piece is the number of people who have told me that the Dickens passage American university students were unable to understand in the famous study of reading comprehension is absurdly difficult. I really don't think it's that hard.

Intelligence is the ability to acquire new knowledge and using it, as effectively and efficiently as possible, to solve new problems the entity was not exposed to before. Solving in-distribution problems is automation, solving out-distribution problems is intelligence.

Anyone whose explanations are more technical than mine is obfuscating with formalism to hide their underlying lack of conceptual clarity. Anyone whose explanations are less technical than mine is a poseur who has failed to engage with the substantive content of the theory.

Gary Marcus Yann LeCun Demis Hassabis You were never alone, Gary, though you were the first to bite the bullet, to fight the good fight, and to make the argument well, again and again, for the limitations of LLMs. I salute you for this good service!

The feed is the enemy of curiosity. It decides what you see. I like to decide myself where to go next, like with Wikipedia link surfing.

Moment of truth: every finding I submitted in Code4rena contests came from a method I built using AI. Over 7 contests my method earned 🥇🥈🥈🥈🥉 with a valid/invalid ratio >1 and multiple solo ands duo High/Medium findings.

After many months of research and development, I’m thrilled to share that BlockThreat Today is now live! Without constant reminders of the pain caused by past incidents, their root causes, and the lessons they taught us, we risk making the same mistakes again and again.
