Great opportunity to work with MLSFH: Malawi Longitudinal Study Families & Health on innovative research on aging in Malawi

Theories on family demography typically assume that union dissolution increases with increasing GDP, wealth, and education. In Africa, the opposite occurred as shown by Ben Malinga John & Natalie Nitsche. It was mostly due to decreasing separations, though also less mortality.
