A couple of sightings of the whale far out in the bay and the song of the skylarks as the light faded along the South West Coast Path

We sadly found a pair of dead gannets washed up on Poly Joke beach at the weekend. Reported them to the Cornwall Wildlife Trust’s Marine Strandings Network. Amazing creatures.

Was planning to walk from home to Watergate Bay and back but the coast path has a way of enticing you to just take a peek around the next corner. It’s always worth it though. Ended up in Mawgan Porth. 17km round trip and it ain’t flat. #sorefeet #swcoastpath
