Resource centres at the destinations help migrants access various services. It would be ideal to keep the location and timing of such centres convenient to them. CMID's centres operate from 1.30pm to 9.30pm and follow a corridor approach in partnership with Gram Vikas

Migrants often miss the alerts as the alerts will be in local languages. This results in poor preparedness which in turn results in larger impact. Inclusive messaging can help improve the preparedness of migrant communities.

We need measures beyond NREGA to address the livelihood challenges in rural India. At the same time we can increase NREGA wages to 400 and workdays to 300 per year.
