I don’t understand this argument. Even if Poilievre and Fanjoy were the only two on the ballot, and even if pp got all the other candidates’ votes, he still would have lost 43,900 to 42,471. What am I missing?

In Sask, Conservatives lost one seat. In Saskatoon two of the con candidates had more total votes against them than for them. In Regina two candidates basically tied the rest of the field. So the message to reject conservatives was equally strong.

To add a little perspective, this was a poll of 577 SK residents. And not from a general random sample, it was 577 members of the Angus Reid forum, a center-right biased org of which their members are most likely too. Definitely not a very accurate sample of the whole province
