Hope as part of Labour’s Curriculum review they look to Scotland and learn from the significant mistakes that have been made there and what not to do. Both falling standards and a widening attainment gap for kids from disadvantaged backgrounds is truly depressing.

The thing with riots is that a large part of them is almost always a case of a bunch of anti-social thugs using the disorder as an excuse for a punch-up and some looting. Such people usually care little or nothing for any purported political cause lying behind the riot.
