In bloom today; Iris ‘Ally Oops’ - this hybrid is species cross between Siberian Iris and Yellow flag Iris (Iris sibirica X Iris pseadacorus).

We were so pleased to welcome Channel 5 earlier this year to film here for this lovely new show all about our wonderful county of Dorset! You may have seen James & Laura Bennett over the last two weeks, a little sneak preview into our part of the show, which will be on next week.

A new RHS Award of Garden Merit (AGM) list for waterlilies was published in 2022 which added 14 new cultivars of Nymphaea to the existing 6 previously awarded back in 1993 bit.ly/450keyR

The gardens will be CLOSED on Wednesday 20th September, this is for safety due to the high winds and rain forecast, we will be open again Thursday. 🌧

It's nearly a year since we welcomed Channel 5 to film Dorset: Country and Coast, a lovely show about our wonderful county of #Dorset! When it aired last August we were overwhelmed with the wonderful response we had from visitors. Watch on Channel 5 tonight at 7pm.
