If a ticket tout selling a £150 ticket for £500 would be called unscrupulous and greedy then what is it when multimillionaire artists and multi-billion pound ticket companies contrive to do the same?

It’s a strange feature of the current conversation around this that echoing and endorsing what the *hostage’s actual families* are saying gets you criticised by people who want to deny that Netanyahu is actively choosing to help keep them in captivity - e.g.

The Chief Rabbi (an absurd post in itself given the structure of UK synagogues) should ration his interventions in British politics. Fears of British jews at home are a reasonable topic. Arms licences and foreign policy not so much.

It’s made much harder to challenge those who wrongly conflate Israel and Judaism when the UK Chief Rabbi keeps doing things like this.
