Referees in the premier league can't win. Refs make good decisions and people will still call them incompetent or even corrupt. There's definitely problems with prem reffing but even if it was better people would still go absolutely mad all the time

Even a lot of replies to this are "well city are corrupt and pay the refs" rather than just "oh sometimes refs get things wrong" and even then, they probably didn't get either wrong. I get being angry with refs, ive done it for sure. But it makes it worse, not better.
