Before my fall visit to Zion, I selected 7 of the 10 prints to be included in my 2023 print portfolio. Yesterday I spent time with the images from my fall trip, made proofs, and began production of the final 3 images to be included. This might be my best print portfolio yet. 😉

Zine Update: I’ve approved the proofs from the print shop, and production is scheduled to complete by November 28th. I will begin shipping both the Zines and portfolios once the zines arrive.

All preorders of my 2023 print portfolio have been mailed, and now I’m working my way through fulfilling the zine orders. I’m hoping to have them all in the mail by the end of this week. After that, it’s time to finish the Zion videos. 😉

This curtain of softly backlit maple branches reminded me of a stained glass window. Photographed on Fuji Provia 100f 8x10 film with my Chamonix Alpinist X 8x10 using a Fujinon C 450mm lens.

I used a 3 stop ND filter to lengthen my exposure to 15 seconds, and intentionally exposed this sheet of 8x10 film during a gust of wind with hopes the windblown leaves would take on a flame-like appearance.
