David, an activist in Catalonia, has also experienced restrictions, notably being taken to court for alleged hate crimes over protests against the far-right. 5/6

#ClimateJustice activists have increasingly faced criminalisation in recent years. For example, two Ultima Generazione | Il Giusto Prezzo activists were placed under special surveillance normally applied in Mafia-related crimes.
