Our final blue plaque of the year celebrates the Physicist and Champion of Science, Abdus Salam! 🔵 Salam's work on electroweak theory contributed to the discovery of the Higgs boson particle – the 'God particle' which gives everything mass.

Great to work with such a fabulous group of front line clinicians from across our city. Important also to reflect on the amazing contributions of nursing colleagues, AHPs, and volunteers from across our community without whom the dialysis machines wouldn’t have kept running.

Real privilege to be part of this with such a great range of studies presented from across the globe. Diverse approaches but important insights from all of them. Lots to learn and huge potential for collaboration. Let’s solve #CKDu
