Confession time: I don’t think of myself as vain, but I can’t watch a Bond film without immediately wanting Daniel Craig’s physique. If someone gave me a one year plan to follow that guaranteed that result (without requiring me to stop being vegan), I’d commit in a heartbeat.

Started the year with a cold water swim with my mum in a 5C (41F) outdoor pool. 😁 Intense and great fun, but the uncontrollable whole body shivering afterwards took me by surprise. 😅 Happy New Year, friends!

My 20 month old son slept in his cot last night, all night (8pm til almost 7am), with no wake-ups, for the first time in his life. After spending part of almost every night in our bed for the last month, it feels extra special. I could cry with relief. 🥲

When we moved house last year, we went to an area with a max connection speed of 60 Mbps. Ouch. But our local FTTP provider just went live, and I've upgraded from 60 Mbps to 500 Mbps. Feels good to be on a civilised connection again!

Nobody talks about the dark side of well manufactured, reliable, high quality products: When I want to buy new shiny cool stuff, it’s super hard to justify if you have an old working version already. 😅 Planned obsolescence has its upsides. Just sayin’.
